Well in theory it does. My downstairs neighbor walks her dog around it a couple of times a day and she said that it is still green. I don't understand why this happens every year. Do they not know when Memorial Day weekend is?
Anyway I walked over to the management office when I got back from work to drop off a check. I owed them an increase in rent and an increase in security since my lease renewed last month but I forgot to adjust the auto-pay amount. I also included the $50 that we have to pay for a pool pass. It was just a bit more than the $$ I've earned in the past 2 days with coverages and tutoring.
I told the property manager that I couldn't find my pass from last year. She said to keep looking for it and that all residents can use the pool this weekend (paid or not) because her laminator for making passes is broken.
I texted my neighbor that anyone could use the pool this weekend which is when she told me that it was green and that she couldn't afford the $50 for the whole summer. Give. Me. A. Break. Go get a job.
Even if the pool isn't green this weekend I'm sure it will be cold. Still I'll go and lay out in the sunshine for awhile. I haven't gone tanning in a couple of months so I need to work on building up my tan again.

I still can’t believe they charge you extra to use the pool. At least you do get to use it after all. I doubt ours is open this year. Some idiot kids trashed the pool equipment last year and the manager won’t fix it. Fine with me though. It’s just a bunch of kids yelling and cursing and making me glad I have no children.
