Well, things are getting back to normal. A little bit is being done each day. Now we are waiting for the closet doors to be done so we can get our bedrooms back to normal. Waiting until someone comes to do that. I hate feeling chaotic and unorganized. The kids have their medication check appointments on Friday. It is at the new location. It was sad to say goodbye to the folks at the old facility. Luckily, their regular nurse practitioner went to the new location, and they are both established there now. The cats haven't seemed to feel any change with the rooms being moved around for the flooring. The one female, Whiskers, climbs around in stuff and continually wonders around and through stuff. Boxes and bookshelves. She climbed clear up on top of a shelf last night and it was weaving back and forth. It made me a bit uneasy. Cats are so adventurous. So I am still in only half of my room. The other half is stacked with televisions, shelves, bookcases, and miscellaneous stuff of my grandson's. Plus, there is still stuff downstairs that can't be moved until the closet doors are hung. So we live in chaos until that happens. The only thing that could happen is that Housing could plan one of its inspections. If so we will just tell them how it is. I am relatively sure that the bigwigs (HUD or whoever) won't come until Housing does their walk-through to see if there are any repairs to be done beforehand. I will just be glad when things are back to normal. That is chaotic enough for me.
