Peppie and his new style of living

Peppie was seen sitting on the steps outside the entrance door. I picked him up yesterday and brought him in
He slept the whole day Just had water but no food He left the place as soon as he heard the female's meowing.
He has now returned and is sleeping. Has not asked for food. He will perhaps sleep until he hears that female meowing. That female refuses to give up Just cries for him and Peppie ignores her. This is the first time I have ever come across a situation like this He sleeps in a curled up positon never the way how he stretched himself before and never changes that position
Who gives him food is the question. Or is he just living on fresh air?
Any answers?

He was here since morning yestereday and he only went out in the evening and got back this morning He just sleeps He does not show any signs of sickness and yes I see he has lost weight
We have no good Vets around here and all this while he survived on his own and the lcare and food he got.
Where he spends the night I do not know

I contacted a Vet he is coming to take him to the clinic. There is no other way. What is worrying me is he is not himself

If he’s an outsider- maybe catching birds, mice, etc. Cats are pure Carnivore.
What a cute little pumpkin pie head, he’s so small.
Tell that girl cat the more desperate she looks, the less interested he will be.
