The Tush Push Lives!!!

it was brought to a vote today in the spring meetings. Do we or do we not ban the tush push. The play that's been responsible for that last inch touchdown or first down.
The tush push quite simply is when your teammates push you over the line.
I've rooted for this move on many occasions lol. it's a very handy play when you're first and inches or inches and goal.
Apparently it was the Green Bay Packers that submitted to ban this move.
Thankfully when they voted on it literally just now, as this is ESPN breaking news, they did not have enough votes of approval.
The tush push will continue to be a beloved move in football and I can't say how happy I am about that lol.

@RebeccasFarm No clue. Usually they come up with rules and revisions to make the game "safer" but this was just because they don't like it I guess.

That's the thing though, one team can't really complain because they all do it. I don't see why it was brought up in the first place.

I don't see a problem with the push. Someone was not happy because their team didn't win due to such a push I will wager.

The tush push is not a bad rule since there is no risk on injury due to a blow to the head via a head on tackle.
