Who is feeding your children next week ..... / myLot

Here in England it isd the half term holiday and so the schools will be closed for 5 days. There was just a report on the local news saying that thousands of children will go hungry next week as their parents can not afford to feed them !!! This may not be a popular thing to say ....but it is my opinion ..... If you can't afford to feed your children for five days then maybe you should not have them in the first place !!!!

Well, one could say that about half of the people (certainly not all) on welfare in the United States. Especially the people who have six kids by four different people. However, I’m sure some people could afford the children they have at the time they were born. Things can change so fast. Those people I especially feel sorry. And I always always feel sorry for the children since it is no fault of their own.

You said it right. I'm not even sure if the story is even true. The media likes to paint pictures to garner sympathies, usually with the government right behind looking for new programs to fund that, let's face it, help no one.

I smiled at the simplicity of your solution. But I have to agree. Perhaps, what happened to them was that they had not used correct contraception, or it happened without plans.

I can't speak fully for them, though.
