Pets have been an integral part of my life right from childhood Mother liked them too and that is how I got to like animals My husabnd liked them too
Both in the city and now here we have always kept pets and now with age catchingup it has boiled down to just one and that is Peppie our pet cat
He was born here and grew to be a beautiful, loving pet but something went wrong and about that I have written many posts.
Peppie has not returned.
I have decided to move on as pining is not something that helps me lead a happy and healthy life.
Peppie wherever you are, you are welcome here any time but I am not going to pine for you

@LadyDuck I was just reading that cats are emotional. Peppie never experienced anything like this in his life. He had all the freedom

@allknowing - I know and for sure he did not appreciate, he needs to be sure that coming back he will not be in danger.

You will slowly overcome this. I know that it is very tough, we get so attached to them that it's tough to get over it fully. But you know that you have done the best for Peppie in your capacity. Life has to move on.

Thank you
One consolation is there and that is he will not starve Someone somewhere will feed him just as I feed those strays

@allknowing Yes, it seems that people in the neighborhood are also kind enough to give him food.

Cats become so sad when they are alone so they try to find a place where they can have fellow cats to stay with. I experienced that with one of my cats, Caramel. He is blind since birth. He would usually stay indoors and seldom go out. One time, he went out and probably got lost on his way home. I found him at my mom's house where there are a lot of cats. From then on, he would scape and I know where to find him.

That's sad. Its better not to think about where he is or in what state he is right now.

I do not know if you have read my earliers posts I had put him in a basket for the Vet to take him to the clinic as he was not himself but the way he jumped out and went straight to the neighbours the Vet felt he was OK but had lost a bit of weight
That is the last I saw of him
