Couples walking under one umbrella

In India specially, walking hand in hand or any such close contact while walking is looked at with disapproval although we do find some doing what pleses them.
What better way then walking under one umbrella in the heat of the sun or when it pours which is 'pardoned' as what can they do if they have just one umbrella
And yet there are some who prefer their own umbrella specially when they have had an argument possibly - never mind
