In another case of nature's fury, New South Wales in Australia is facing very severe floods. There have been a few casualties. Hundreds of schools closed and 5000 Plus Business affected. Almost 50K plus folks have been told to be prepared to be isolated for some days. Electricity too has been hit. I think it is a practice as well to disconnect Electricity since flooded areas have increased risks of electrocution. My thoughts go out with people in NSW, Australia and may they come out of this situation pretty fast. News Link :

So many have been impacted by these floods. I really feel for them and many are not insured. In some areas, insurance premiums are extremely high.

@JudyEv What is happening is not only in Australia but in many parts of the world. It is sad to see so much devastation in Australia but then all this also makes us realize that we are totally unable to tackle climate change or stop its advent. Plus it is happening in Australia, which is pretty developed and supposed to have a good drainage system.

@RebeccasFarm Most of us humans have been playing with Mother Nature, taking it for granted. And well, Mother Nature was bound to hit back. Still time for us to rectify our ways but well, is anyone in Power anywhere in the world listening?

@RasmaSandra Yes, they would be in a much worse situation and their survival itself is at a grave risk.

The weather conditions over the last few years has resulted in massive flooding or bush fires causing devastating destruction not just for people but wildlike too.

@garymarsh6 All this tells that as a collective unit, we humans are not doing enough to counter or mitigate Global warming. All these COP events are proving insufficient.
