What's Your Biggest Fear?

Canada

We all have one, some are irrational while others have merit to them. I remember once watching talk shows where people were afraid of bizarre things, such as mustard. It has me wondering what others may fear the most. My deepest fear was realized earlier this month when something bad happened to a member of my family. It made me realize that my fear wasn't irrational, and could actually happen. That was a scary thought. Some of my other fears include mice, spiders, snakes, and clowns. But, what I'd like to know is what is your biggest fear, please feel free to share your experience with that fear.

That my dear is a very valid fear, and I feel for you. Hopefully, someday soon it can be resolved and you will not continue to live in this fear. I will keep you in my prayers.

I hear you, it would be horrible to be the last person left. I'm not afraid of ants though I heard some of them do bite. It reminds me of this time we were at a lake and my cousin got ants in his pants! Oh my how he danced that day, he busted moves I'm not sure he could have for any other reason.

Thank you for sharing something so personal. I’m really sorry to hear that one of your deepest fears came true—there’s nothing more difficult than facing something painful happening to a loved one. It really does put things into perspective and reminds us how real some fears can be. As for me, one of my biggest fears has always been losing the people I love. That sense of helplessness is something I think many of us can relate to. On a lighter note, I’m also not a fan of snakes or deep water—both make me pretty uneasy! It’s interesting how fears can range from the serious to the quirky, but they all say something about what matters to us. Thank you again for opening up—this is a really thoughtful topic.

Thank you, it is a really difficult time for myself and my family. I appreciate your kind words, and thank you for the compliment on the topic. I have always been fascinated with fears, and I thought it would be an interesting discussion, especially in light of everything. Deep water such as the ocean can be a pretty scary place, you never know what lurks in its depths.
