Arms across America

United States
May 25, 2025 9:03am CST
Had a chat come in with a customer needing help with plugging their VOIP phone into the router. I really wanted to ask her, how am I supposed to help you do that over the internet? Stretch my arms across America? Drive to your office? Are you going to pay gas money? Do you want me to snap my fingers? Instead, I asked, do you have an ethernet cord for this phone? She replies with No. So I'm like, kill me now. I told her you will need an ethernet cord to plug it into the router. She replies with Oh, Ok and ends the chat. I proceed to bang my head on the wall.

Do you have the same code for that as we do in America? We call that an ID10T. It reads ID ten T, but spelling it out it is idiot. So when you get someone like that woman you’d say it’s an ID10T. Bless your heart!
