I like the chocolate cake to be fully chcolate with soft chocolate icing layered inside
The only cake that could be fully chocolate could probably be the Black Forest cake.
When I was on a Eruope tour I got to visit Germany and tasted the real Black Forest cake.
I feel like eating a chocolate cake and do you know for my birithday they got me a chocolate cake which tasted almost like the Black Forest cake?

Funnily enough when I was younger I used to love chocolate cake & my go to was Sachertorte. This days l just don't like chocolate cake & prefer something less filling. Blackforest gateau is delicious if there are lots of black cherries in it!

I quite like the.chocolate cake to be like the chocolate you like.
Black Forest cake is good.

I wouldn’t class a Black Forest gateau as fully chocolate cake, because it’s got lots of none chocolatey things in it, like: cream, cherries, and Kirsch. Over here, a chocolate cake is just chocolate all the way!

You are right but the only chocolate cake that I had was Black Forest that had more chocolate in it than any other. Yes the Black Forest cake is not fully chocolate.

@allknowing I think chocolate cake can be as chocolatey as you want. It’s basically a sandwich cake with cocoa powder added, and you can add chocolate cream filling and cover it in melted chocolate, with chocolate shavings or chocolate pieces, just for good measure. Is that chocolatey enough for you?
