Is Covid even back?

At first, I didn't pay much attention to it because I've only seen it on the black app but news came in my home country, and it's confirmed. Most patients were from other Asian countries while ours has continuous rise of MPox (Monkey Pox). I hope there's no more lockdowns and I hope the viruses will come to a halt because it's been messing the people's lives for years already.

COVID will meander on. I doubt it will cause lockdowns, hopefully just sensible precautions.

And I hope there's no more additional vaccinations for it since they said, the recent Covid variant is much stronger.

Covid never went away. People stopped talking about it because governments around the world wanted their economies to come back and people to get out and spend money again. Every year Covid mutates and the current varieties are less severe than the strains last year. That isn't always the case but it's nice to see fewer people being hospitalized with Covid.

True. It's like every three months; there's a new variant that comes out. We were able to move on about it but now, they highlighted it again.

@DaddyEvil That's so nice of you two. I only wear mask whenever we have hospital check-ups and made sure to take a bath after going there.

@eLsMarie My daughter and I haven't caught Covid and hope we never do. We still wear masks if we go out of the house and carry sanitizer in the car to use when we get done shopping.

Covid has never really gone away, but a lot of countries want their citizens to believe it has. It’s definitely not as prevalent, thank goodness, but if we were to have another lockdown I don’t think it would be for Covid. That’s just my opinion about a lockdown though. Hopefully, nothing as bad as it will appear any time soon.

From what I know, and I hope it's not true, there was a lab that stores all the variants. They're just going to release it by the time another variant becomes 'unsuccessful' in causing another major concern.

I am also hoping that Covid is not making a comeback in America either since I do not want to wear a mask in public again.
