The Loktak Lake in North East is the largest fresh water lake with weeds in Asia. There are many weeds and leaves which flow naturally. The lake is so big that it looks like a river. Travellers enjoy boating there. On a rainy day it is a lovely experience to do boating in the lake. The lake effect bring rain in surrounding areas.

Boating in light rain is enjoyable but may not be safe if it rains heavily.
