Tuneless Choir and Friday's shopping trip down town.

So, I've been a bit busy and haven't been able to come on. But just to keep you up to date, I went to Tuneless Choir for the second time on Wednesday. Here is what we sang:- What do you want by Adam Faith Lucy in the sky with diamonds by The Beatles Let's Dance by Chris Montez Hotel California by The Eagles Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps by Doris Day Make you feel my love by Adele Music to watch girls by by Andy Williams Love will keep us together by Captain and Tennille Anyone who had a heart by Cilla Black Fix You by Cold Play It must be love by Madness Radio Ga Ga by Queen I love Rock'N'Roll by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts But we didn't sing them in that order. We sang We love Rock 'N'Roll in part one. And there's a funny story about Anyone who had a heart by Cilla Black. When the words to it came up on the screen, they'd put Anyone who had an Art! And I was also laughing at what came up on the screen during one of the other songs. It said, during the instrumental break, diddy diddy diddy diddy diddy for ages and then lots of drums and I was nearly wetting myself laughing at it! Anyway, we had lots of fun. I also put myself down for a couple of events, but I might need a lift for at least one of them. We'll see what happens. I walked there and back again too. Friday I went shopping down town. I didn't get any photos printed because I'd got all my quota for May. I went straight to WH Smith and got myself a Doctor Who magazine. Then I went and popped my repeat prescription into the pharmacy. I usually do it online the Monday before the Friday when I go to pick it up, bit as it was bank holiday on Monday I thought probably I couldn't do it, so I popped it into the pharmacy on Friday instead. They said it won't be ready now till Monday, because yesterday was a bank holiday it's going to take longer. So I'm not going shopping down town this Friday, I'm going on the Monday afterwards instead because I don't want to go down town twice, I'll do everything on the Monday. After I'd put my repeat prescription in, I went to the down town Tesco and got some green grapes, some malted milk biscuits, some homey roast peanuts and a double pack of kitchen roll for my Mum. Then I went to The Works and got some white card to use for stamping. It's cheaper than getting it from HunkyDory. Then I went to Iceland (the shop not the country) and got my Mum a paella and some Hunter's Chicken, but I had to get slimming world Hunter's Chicken because I couldn't find any of the ordinary ones. Then I headed for home via the alley that goes up by the side of Iceland. Now, remember last week I told you I couldn't go down that alley because there was a barrier and it said they were removed graffiti? Well, they weren't just removing the graffiti, they were replacing it, and there's now a whole Lichfield themed murial up there. Shame I hadn't taken my tablet with me, or I would have been able to take a photo. Anyway, I went home. My Mum was still at the house group that meets at Church when I got home, so I put her change, Tesco club card and shopping list on the coffee table. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away.
