In your culture, what does dreaming about a gecko in your hands mean?
I am curious, and Google gave opposing interpretations. So, I am coming directly to you.
I dreamed that I was holding a gecko in my hand, it was not unruly- just quiet, and then I woke up.
Kindly tell me what your culture thinks of this dream. Thank you.

I have no idea. My dreams are very vivid and usually stressful.

Are you fighting a snake in your dreams, Linda? I often am.
The snake is trying to bite me, so I have both hands around its neck (do they even ‘have’ necks?), and I have a knife in my pocket. I want to grab the knife and cut its head off, but can’t hold onto it with only one hand. What a dilemma!

@LindaOHio I’d offer you my knife to help, but you’d have to reach into my pocket to get it. My hands are full, wrestling this snake.

I do not interpret dreams and that gecko thing is new to me.

I don't really know but I got this from the Internet
Dreaming of a gecko on your hand suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed by a situation or relationship in your life.

I don't think that this is something Scottish culture has ever had to think about my friend.
But I hope it brings you good health

A gecko in the hand is worth two in the bush

If the gecko is calm, it may symbolize control over your fears or an intuitive acceptance of something previously unclear.
It can also mean that you are holding something fragile yet important in your hands — perhaps an idea, a feeling, or even an inner transformation.

I never liked reptile-like creatures.
