Good Morning

I know it's been a few days since I've been on but it's been an exhausting few days lol. My husband is still suspended so he's been doing some job hunting. Dad went in for heart surgery this morning. Everything went fine and they'll be keeping him for at least one night just to make sure it stays alright. My husband's uncle may not last the week. He's in bad shape in a hospital up in Maryland. His mom has been keeping us updated on him. All kittens are still doing great. I think the females are going into heat again because the males want some and they aren't having it right now. They're still feeding the babies so I doubt it'll go over well for a bit longer. I have been lax in my computer work but I'm slowly picking it back up. Reading has been flowing. I'm still reading Wild Love by Elsie Silver but my next two books are already picked out. I have an ARC from Carrie Ann Ryan and the new Nora Roberts is out. I'm super excited lol. The past few days I've been watching war movies. We finished Band of Brothers last night and went straight into the Pacific. Somewhere in the beginning of the week I watched We Were Soldiers. It's funny that I watched the beginning, fell asleep through out the whole war and woke up at the end. Only I could do that lol. I'm hoping things will start looking up soon. I can only keep working and hope. The shop is doing good. Fourth of July designs are becoming popular and I'm pushing Father's Day ones. Highland cows are very popular lol. What is everyone else doing today?

@JordanLader I don't usually have lazy days either but I'm off work with a broken arm at the moment so I can't really do very much.

@Traceyjayne I'm a horrible patient, it would drive me insane. Hopefully you're finding things to do.

Glad to hear your dads surgery went well and he's doing okay. Sorry to hear about your uncle. I like Nora Roberts and will have to look for her new book. I have a few books on my TBR pile. Another day of rain here so it's a good day for watching tv or reading. I might take a ride with my daughter to Hobby Lobby but it depends on what time she's going if I tag along.

@JordanLader The price of books is crazy these days even if you can find a sale.

@Marilynda1225 That's for sure. I was using second hand sites but there's a few that I buy when they come out. Nora is one of them.

I'm not allowed to go into Hobby Lobby alone. I spend too much. I get my coasters and kitchen towels from there. The kitchen towels are great sellers. I'm trying to scrape the money together for the new Nora. It's called Hidden Nature. Usually I have them preordered but it's been difficult lately.

Sounds good. The only sport I ever really got into was football and that was because of my dad lol. He jokes now that he created a monster.

Glad your Dad is doing good. Hoping your Uncle-in-law gets better. I haven't sit down and read a whole book in over 10 years. But I remember Nora Roberts. I used to read books a LOT. When I was a kid and in the summer visited my Aunt in a small town in Ohio, I read books a lot. They had a competition and they gave you a paper with balloons on it,and when you read and brought back a book to their tiny library, they would color a balloon. I read 20 books that summer. Hope your husband finds a job soon.
