Last Days of 5th Grade!

Hey there everyone, how are you all doing? It's Eli's last few days of school - of his 5th grade year. That is so crazy to believe. It seems like he just started Kindergarten. He's had a crazy journey in elementary school I have to say. From his shyness and one teacher not understanding it to the point he was getting written up for not behaving, then he had a couple seizures and that was a whole crazy ordeal. Last couple years he had great teachers that helped him - he is still shy and doesn't get all his work done but he's doing better I think. Now he even has a girlfriend (though he doesn't talk to her in person -- they do in texts). I just hope he'll do well in middle school. Of course, if he gets to go on to 6th grade, which I am guessing so - the teacher never let us know otherwise. Today all of the school (that were given permission at least) went to the movie theatre for a end of year treat. Tomorrow is the last day - and there will be a 5th grade graduation walk in the morning. Glad for summer break, even though it is nice to have the 7 hours a day to rest from the wild kid lol!
