Here is an update on Rash Lady...hey, I may as well be humorous about it, right? I still have the rash. The original area it started in was my lower legs. That cleared up a bit, but now it is starting all over again there. The rash has also spread to my back. That is good in a way since I can't reach my entire back to scratch. However, it is also very annoying and uncomfortable. I suppose my face is next, since this rash has started at my ankles and moved up. Uggg. I go back to dermatology next Tuesday on June 2nd. I've been playing phone tag with the nurse to see if doctor has any recommendations for the meantime. She has only called me back so far at 7:30 am and I'm in a deep sleep at that time since I'm not getting to bed before 4 am on most nights. Hope you are all having a good day? It has to be better than itching all day!! Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

that sounds so frustrating and exhausting too, especially with the sleep schedule and phone tag on top of everything. It’s maddening when something like a rash keeps spreading and doesn’t give you a break.

I am very tired and over it, only not over it. Praying that it will be played out on Tuesday or much better. I don't want to keep testing meds on this. It has been a "miss" more than a hit.

@kareng It was a good day to make up for showers that passed in the neighborhood on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Did they get the results of the biopsy? Maybe it is stress induced

This is certainly dragging on! Can you have developed a sudden allergy?

I hope not. But I will be asking to do allergy testing again when I get switched over to a new primary doctor.

It's crazy the wait time to get in to see some of these doctors. With the doctor calling to schedule my appointment, it is mid July!

Oh dear I was hoping that the rash would be a thing of the past by now. Having an ok day. Was a bit slow on the uptake today when I got out of bed but I blame Jim Beam for that

Yep, it is still with me and it's welcome has been gone. I am tired and tired of it, hoping it feels the same and goes away for good.

Yes, me too! Can't be soon enough! I'm beginning to think I inherited my dad's medical trend of just being abnormally normal.

Appointment moved to Tuesday so we can consult with another dermatologist. He doesn't work in the afternoons. I was originally scheduled for Monday afternoon to get stitches out and recheck. At least it didn't get pushed any longer!

Have you tried cutting out suspect foods? I know I get an itchy rash if I eat too many oranges. For my Mum, it was strawberries. Just a thought.

No, I haven't. I usually get a bad case of sneezing when I am allergic to a food item or my mouth and/or face swells. I found that I was allergic to something in the lemon cake that I usually have for dessert at a local restaurant. I did do elimination on that and did not react.
