Do you like to hold insects?

A praying mantis

I must admit that I get squeamish at the thought, but I was tempted to hold this one - possibly a praying mantis in the garden. The kids didn't hesitate at all though - they gently got it to climb onto a leaf and tipped it slowly into their hand. The praying mantis did not mind the company a f posed for a few shots. I declined the offer to hold it - this was close enough. When was the last time you held an insect?

It depends on if they are harmful or not.

I would be happy to hold it but I wouldn't like to hold a cockroach.

A cockroach would send me jumping away.
