Earlier I saw a news story is said that said, " Last living grandson of the 10th President John Tyler dies" And I said, "What? How could that be?" LOL
Well Duh! finish reading the title!.......... " at 96" Makes senses now!
I felt like a real dummy!
The president was 63 when his son Lyon Gardiner was born. Then Lyon was 75 when his son Harrison Ruffin Tyler was born in 1928 and his grandfather had been deceased for more than 60 years!
I remember my elderly cousin was the last living child of a veteran from the Civil War. My friends thought I was telling a tall story. My cousin was his father's youngest son from his second marriage. His father was 72 when he was born!

Interesting. I think about people that are 100 years old and all the advancements they've been witness to.
