Night One

This is night one at the Tennessee Fire Academy.
It's a week long class on Fire Life and Safety Instructor, I hope that this is worth it because I absolutely hate being away from home.
Especially right now with everything still going on.
Dad is doing better but he will be so much better when he can start his leg exercises again. Hopefully they'll clear him for that on Friday.
Mom is sick with at least a cold. We have her on meds now.
My husband has one definite interview on Tuesday and we're hoping at least one or two others come Monday.
I absolutely snapped on Chris today and that is a completely different post because there was a lot that led up to that.
My husband helped me pack and get the car loaded to go. I'm now sitting here in the dorms missing my bed.
Almost everything in here is freaking vinyl and it's annoying.
Oh well, I'm going to see what else I can get done. I doubt I'll sleep tonight.

Sounds like you’re carrying a lot right now—being away from home when so much is happening is never easy. It’s a lot of responsibility, worry, and emotion all at once. I really hope the class proves worth your time and effort, and that things settle down soon for your family—especially your dad and mom. Wishing your husband luck with the interviews too! One step at a time—you’re doing your best, and that’s more than enough.

It really is a lot and I don't complain, I don't vent. It's all my burden to bear because everyone has their own stuff going on. If we do vent it's never one sided.

I hate being away from home when it's not a vacation. Glad to hear that your dad is doing as well as can be expected. Sorry about your mom's cold. Today cousin #2 is coming to do her usual. Take care.

It's tough when you're away from home but hope you got some sleep last night.
Good to hear that your dad is doing okay and should be feeling better once he can start on his leg exercises again.
Poor mom getting sick when you aren't home and your dad needs so much help right now.
Fingers crossed your husband finds a job soon.
