why do people in Africa keep investing in Ponzi schemes after scams?

June 1, 2025 11:18pm CST
Every year, you hear stories of ponzi schemes shutting down and dissappearing with investors funds in many parts of Africa . What amuses me most is how these schemes keep appearing year after year and people keep putting their hard-earned money in it. Can these people just stop and think for once and learn to say "No" to these people? Woke up this morning to hear that there has been a technical glitch on one of these schemes and people cant access their funds.

Let's face it. People are gullible. Thus, the story continues to be told over and over and over again and will continue to be told as many times.

100% correct. They are driven by the need to make more money.

@ogbenishyna44 Everyone is looking for an easy way to make it, and the reality is...there's isn't an easy way. But people tend to ignore that very important fact. Like the old saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
