WHAT is this? Does anybody know?

Have you ever eaten something like this before? Well, it’s a slice of homemade pumpkin pie. The surprise part is, my mom made it for me. A whole pie. A whole organic pie (I know the Polish recipe, it’s all organic.) The thing is, earlier yesterday, I told her I was gonna take a nap. So what does she do? Decides it would be the perfect time to start vacuuming the upstairs, right outside my room. So we’ve got the loud vacuum going, banging into walls, you name it. I already vacuumed the whole upstairs a couple days ago for her. I remember this clearly because the whole time I was pretending I was vacuuming my new apartment, which is right around the corner. But she still had to do it again. I figured this was some kind of payback because my Dad will be part-time living with me at the apartment, and this was her chance for revenge. Normally, when someone threatens my sleep in any way, I just attack. Every cell in my body was screaming for me to get up outta bed and start yelling, but instead, I practiced self control. I grabbed onto one of my rosary beads I wear around my neck, and just said, “God, please don’t let me get up and kill her.” And it worked! She was finally done after a half hour of wild vacuuming, I fell asleep for about 7 hours (long nap), and when I woke up, this pumpkin pie was waiting for me on the stove. I’m the only one who likes pumpkin pie, so she made it for me. Some kind of reward for not yelling? Still confused. Doesn’t matter I guess, I love this pie. It’s my fave. Has someone ever done something nice for you, possibly without an ulterior motive, and you couldn’t figure out why? And Secondly, do you like pumpkin pie?
