Hello, how are we all?
I've taken on way too much, which is partly why I've not been here for a while.
We recently celebrated my husband's birthday with some fun things that included food, 80s music, and steam trains. We've just found out that we're having a fourth granddaughter. A friend recently had a baby, and I've been making trinkets (in fretwork and cross-stitch) for her.
Today, a small human was excited to see a train. I was also excited but it was also wonderful to see the joy in someone else. I didn't have time to stop and count the containers but I'm glad that the small human and her mum could watch.
I'm currently rehearsing for an upcoming show. It's pretty intense as the show is in three weeks! I'm really looking forward to it being over, I'm exhausted
This month is full of stuff. Did you know that 1st June was National Dinosaur Day (in the US and UK, not sure of other places)?
June is Pride Month, and I'm looking forward to being part of my little town's very first Pride event. That's going to be amazing.
We have some family birthdays to celebrate, and there are other things going on. I've not been able to do as much volunteering at our theatre recently but that's mainly due to rehearsing for the show that will be performed there
I'll probably be doing more volunteering once the show is over. I think I'll stick to volunteering or watching shows. I haven't got the energy to perform any more! Saying that, I really want to do the next show because it's a familiar one with music I like and I think an old youth theatre friend might join us.
I'm sure I've forgotten something but I'm quite excited over everything.
What's made your heart happy recently?

80s songs are great... I knew them few but whichever songs I come across I love them
All the best for your show

Thank you.
I love lots of music. I'm looking forward to seeing a rock show at the weekend. I think it will be mainly 70s, 80s, early 90s) (Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith)

The show is a musical version of The Witches of Eastwick. I only have a small part. I'm mostly singing and dancing with an ensemble. I have two actual lines of my own
