In many forest lands such plants are there which are really medicines for different diseases. For example lemon grass is grown. they are used to treat leprosy. Ayurveda, naturalopathy all had come from forest produce only.

Nature has given us so much. We just need the wisdom to respect it and understand it. Our ancestors had so much wisdom and they have passed a strong legacy. We need to be grateful for that and embrace it.

thanks Arunimaji I really get excited to visit the woods forests jungles because majority of medicinal plants are there. These days children are hardly taught biodiversity. I attended a conference. There was a question raised what is the state bird of West Bengal. The answer was white throated kingfisher. None of the law students knew it. It is such a shocking result. People should be made aware

@sathviksouvik People in older generations including ours was grounded and very close to Nature. We felt grateful and had all the reverence for it. The same is not with young generations. They are slaves to technology, They live in virtual space more than real world. They are disconnected from Nature. A lot blame has to go to our generation too. We are not too involved in their life.
