Coco pie or buko pie is my favorite food snack delicacy.
"It is a popular Filipino dessert. It's s made with a creamy coconut filling encased in a flaky pie crust.
"The filling consists of fresh young coconut meat and is thickened with cornstarch, along with coconut milk and sometimes evaporated milk.
"The pie crust is baked separately and then assembled with the filling, often using a double baking method to achieve the desired texture and golden brown appearance." (Source: AI google)
It's so delicious and yummy.
They're sold in selected malls in our place. And also ambulant vendors used to sell ithem inside the public transport.
When I go home after going out of town or traveling to capital city, I buy two of them as my "pasalubong" for my grandkids and wife.

I'm not big on coconut; but I know that @NJChicaa would enjoy it.
