Monday's shopping trip down town.

I didn't go shopping last Friday because I needed to fetch my repeat prescription on Monday so I decided to do all the shopping then instead of having to go down twice. I went to the photo expert shop first to get some photos printed, but the lady in there said they were a bit busy and could I do some of my shopping first and come back in about 20 minutes. There was only one lady in there on Monday, there are usually two, so she was run off her feet. So I said ofcause. I went to WH Smith and got 4 first class stamps for my Mum first, then I went to Holland and Barrett and got 2 packets of raspberry liquorice for me and 1 packet of black liquorice for my Mum. Then I went up to the pharmacy and got my repeat prescription. Then I went back down to the down town Tesco and got 2 lots of strawberries, some of my matcha green tea T-bags, some baking paper and some kitchen foil. After I'd done all that I went back to the photo expert shop, and it was empty! So I got my photos printed and had 3 squares on my card crossed off. Then I went to The Works to look for a small diary. I could only find larger dairies, and they all started in July! So I went off to the Waterstones book shop because I knew they sold diaries in there. They did have smaller pocket sized ones, but they still all started in July. Infact they started at the end of July! That wasn't good enough for me! Do you know how hard it is to get a diary in the middle of the year? I even went into the Oxfam bookshop, but they only had notebooks! So I decided to try and get one from Amazon later. So then I went to Iceland (the shop not the country) and got my Mum a paella. She also wanted a Hunter's Chicken, but I couldn't find any at all this time. After I'd payed for that I set off for home through the alley by Iceland. Remember I told you they'd been removing graffiti from there and creating a muriel instead? Well I took some pictures of it, one of which you can see above. So then I went to the toilet by the Cathedral, and then I went home. When I got home I gave Mum her change, shopping list and club card. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away, then I had my lunch and watched some telly. I hope you are all having a great day.
