It's raining here

A heavy downpour rocks the stillness of the night while having our late dinner.
It's cool indeed in our place but it's unpleasant for the people to walk outside for the road is flooding with rain water.
I never thiught that it would rain tonight for in the morning we have a bright sunny day.
I forgot that June i's the start rainy season here. And ends on November.
How's your weather out there.

I hear about it raining in different areas but it doesn't here. We have about 20 minutes total in four months. Usually we have several thunder storms in the spring. We've had none. It's weird. I love the storms and sure wish we'd have some.

One of the great nightmares of Filipinos is the storm. Our country is visited by storm 22 times a year. Some are non disatrous. Some are deadly.

@Nakitakona I'm from India. We recieve rain from the monsoon. Monsoon has already arrived here. A week ago we had rain continuously for five days. After that we don't know where the clouds disappeared Now we are having a dry and hot weather

Pretty decent here, warm but not to warm. It actually had a good 8 hour rain storm a few days ago off and on. We really did not see rain after May last year. So pretty nice surprise to get a nice thunderstorm early in June. Keeps the weather cooler, too, so that is always nice.
I hope you enjoy the rain and never take it for granted because never know these days when a good one will come again.

@nakitakona I love to lie in bed with the window open late at night when it rains. The sound of it and the smell of the damp earth are intoxicating.

It was rainy yesterday and the temperature dropped 15 degrees. Cloudy and dry today so far. We will get rain again around noon today.

That's cooll. Late in the afternoon we got a heavy downpour. I came across a news in the FB that some of the city streets in the capital city were flooding.

Since it is summer it will start to get hot. It does not rain in the summer here.
