I've been to the little Tesco again this morning. My Mum told me to wear a coat, but I looked out of the window and thought, no!
It was lovely out. There was a bit of a breeze on the way there. There was a van up our street covering the whole path, so I had to go out onto the road to get passed it.
When I got into the shop I headed to the magazines, but there was a guy there doing some engineering work on the freezers opposite and he had these yellow barriers round, meaning you couldn't get to most of the magazines and newspapers. Fortunately, the What's On TV magazines were right at the end and I could just reach to get them.
Then, because the guy was in the way, I had to go back down the isle the way I'd come, and then down the next isle where I got something new for my Mum and Syd from the freshly baked section, some kind of pasty thing. Then I got Syd a bounty bar.
My Mum wanted some marshmallow things in silver foil. I didn't know what she meant, but I found these like chocolate tea cake things wrapped in foil, and it said they had marshmallows in them, so I guessed that was it and I took that. My Mum also wanted some malted milk biscuits, so I got those too.
Then I went round and got one lot of strawberries, which was reduced, and a pot of grapes that had half green grapes and half red grapes. Then I got some Alpen cereal with no added sugar for my Mum.
Then I went round to get the milk, but the ordinary semi-skimmed milk was sold out so I had to get the organic version. Then, because the engineering fella was inbetween me and where you go to go to the till, I had to go back down the next isle and back round onto this isle from the other end to get there!
I payed for my stuff. It came to just over £17. Then I set off for home. It felt hotter on the way home because of there being a lack of breeze. And I had to go into the road again to get passed the van.
When I got home I gave Mum her change, shopping list and club card. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. I told her I'd got something different from the freshly baked section, and that I'd had to get organic milk.
Now I'm watching Homes Under the Hammer, and in a minute I'm going to have my lunch.
What are you lot getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

Yes, it does. It really takes the heat off.
