Well, a couple of months ago we bought some start plugs of Marigolds. My Mom was going to nurture them until we had to put them in the ground . She did this and two weeks ago we took them to our house and The Mister planted them. We water them and talk to them and give them a lot of loving care BUT .....the slugs also love them.
They have had all of them .....ALL 20 OF THEM !!!
I feel a trip to the garden centre is likely .....but what can we do about the slugs .....

Sorry to hear it. I always plant my marigolds from seeds I harvest from the marigold flowers when they wilt and dry up. Luckily I have a lot of great success with them, and because they make seeds, I haven't had to buy any of them for at least 10 years. I always have a ton of seeds.
