People keep asking me what I think about these LA riots. I laugh, because there was not even looting. They lit like 4 or 5 self driving cars on fire and some people think they were just keeping people safe so AI does not kill us quicker than necessary. 
There was another van or something that blew up but turns out that was on the police as they shot one of those smoke grenades under it or something causing it to blow up when iit blew up/.
The confrontations with police and them screaming at each other is just normal for LA.
Why Trump sent in National Guard and Marines because he wants to look like a strong man and embarrass Gov Newsome. I think most people know that.
I will say the so called riots that people keep trying to say they were is inaccurate. I seen LA burn itself to the ground harder when the Lakers and Dodgers won their championships. They had looting every time. 
Why this became such a news story is people did not like they were waving Mexican flags and a few others and not American ones. It pissed people off and they like LA is rioting.

@sallypup Yeah, I doubt its over, hopefully for there, but this has the feeling of just the start.
I hope Trump knows how much true Americans value their freedom and the constitution that protected us for so many years.
Marines like to do tests to test you, maybe that is what this is for America, A test, Trump can destroy us or maybe its a test to how strong constitution is and how strong America still is.

@sallypup I think we have been in one for some time now and Trump kids are worrying because they never had to fight for anything worthy.

Stuff like this makes me roll my eyes everytime. I mean, really. Black lives matter, that was a riot. Jan 6th, that's a riot.

@kaylachan Yeah, many of us old enough to understand true fear and seen what true riots look like. I mean Marines have not even accidently shot someone yet because they have PTSD from true war. They just standing there, looking depressed because they protect freedom not fight against it.

Isn't it funny (well not really) how this small area is what was highlighted in the news . . . yah it was bad there with the stupids being idiots, but that did not and does not represent the bigger picture of the protesting. They made it sound like all of LA was burning to the ground - clearly it's not that. He sent in the Natl Guard and Marines for what? So much disinformation out there . . . you're right about the inaccuracies.

@much2say That's another thing people do not understand. It is really such a small area. I think even reporter said. 5 blocks either way and LA is running like it always does. 134 million it costs us tax payers too and that is the low estimate.

@jstory07 Indeed, people keep saying something about protecting federal buildings, but these people were far from trying to overthrow the government like Trump did on January 6th. They just wanted them to stop stealing and locking up their family members, neighbors and workers.
That's the only time federal troops get called per the constitution if there is a rebellion or uprising against the United States government. People did what they do, try to over blow it to start crap,
