Tom and I went out and about today. Went to AmVets and ended up donating too much money IMO! But then we went to Gene's Oyster Bar. I got the Sampler..Fried Grouper, Shrimp, and Oysters with Onion Rings. Tom got the Mullet Dinner. We got to talking to the dude behind our counter..wasn't busy. Found out his Grandmother was my boss when I bartended at her bar. I remembered his mother and found out she had passed 9 years ago. I lost contact with all of the family when the bar closed. But we ended up knowing quite a few people he knew. I remember him when he was a kid. He is 43 now. Really small world.

Life has it's ways. Sometimes you met people you completely forgot about until reminded. It's nice to catch up and go back into some memories. I hope you enjoyed your meal and the time you spent.

It really is a small world. Went to the Keys and ran into someone that lived only a few miles from us. Many down there are from somewhere else.
