Another day, another pile of samples and goodies to review. I actually ended up with about three more items than I was expecting—always a fun surprise. She-child got a couple of things to try out, which made her day. One was a pair of cow-print slippers, and the other was a surprise toy that—ironically enough—turned out to be a cow. Double win! As for me, I got a hydration powder that’s supposed to be Strawberry Kiwi flavored. It doesn’t really taste like strawberry or kiwi, but it’s not bad. And since it’s fancy (read: expensive), I’m definitely going to use it all. Plus, I need to drink more water anyway, so it works out. Conveniently, I also received a BottleBottle water bottle to test—currently breaking it in with that not-so-strawberry-kiwi drink. I also got a meat shredder that looks hilariously like a giant weed grinder. I’m actually excited to try it out since I make a lot of shredded pork and chicken. Fingers crossed it’s as useful as it is funny-looking. Another cool item: a little travel blender that comes with two to-go cups. Just blend and bolt. I'm genuinely excited about that one. Oh—and I got a pair of knockoff Birkenstocks too. I think that’s everything… or at least everything I can remember right now. Either way, it was a solid haul—especially since it was all free!
