Peppie our pet cat is on strike

Today is the first day that Peppie will not get fresh fish first thing in the morning His bowls are loaded with the dry fish and chicken feed and also a small bowl of curds
He has refused to touch it and goes on meowing for fresh fish which is not available here.
I feel for him but there is nothing I can do He has now left the house and perhaps hopes the neighbours will feed him fresh fish.
I know he will come back and then I am sure he will start with the dry feed that is waiting for him

He has returned and has gone to sleep. Probably he got fed somewhere.

@LadyDuck It has been raining heavily here and he managed to get in. He was busy cleaning himself and did not let me wipe him

Ah but he gets fresh fish a bit later on when he comes home all wet after the heavy rain.

So did he get fresh fish from a neighbour when he went away out in the rain?

Cats are such funny, wonderful creatures. I feed a couple of strays in the neighborhood. They’ll snub the food I put down…then I see them eating it a few minutes later.
