I woke up around 6:20 a.m. and then i realised that i got a message on my phone.
i thought it was someone i know. no. it was unknown number saying, translated from my mother tongue, Croatian:
Muuum, my phone is broken. Send me a message on whatsapp on mentioned number, new one, this one.
I trembled a bit that there must be a teenager in need but it must have been fake. i blocked it but it shoke me a bit, how emotional they can get.
I got scam messages about having to pick up some merchandise but, this, felt very personal and was sent at 3 a.m.
Scammers don't pick up the time. I am glad it didn't wake me up during thr night.

Well for what it is worth my phone would never ever be on at that time of day.
My phone does not get switched on until about 1pm when we get up.
Scammers, I must be lucky as it's nothing I have ever really experienced..

These people always makes way on how they can make money by creating scam texts to others and I can see that , I felt cautious, hurt and sad as well.

Scammers like to pretend they are children or teens in need of help. Sometimes they will pose as the person's grandchild.
