Vishwaskumar - British National - the lone survivor does not know how he survived. He is totally disoriented with injury marks all over his body His main concern however is about his younger brother Ajay who travelled with him. Little does he know his brother is no more. Vishwaskumar is married who lives in the UK with his wife and son. He has been there since 2003 and is a businessman. Wonder if he will be compensated too You can read more about him here
Vishwashkumar Ramesh is only passenger to survive the Air India crash that killed 241 people.

He is a very lucky man to be the sole survivor. But having said this, he will forever bear the pain of losing his brother

It is incredible that he survived, I don't know how it happened and he can't explain either. I'm afraid he will always suffer from 'survivor's guilt' after this.

The news described it as the most tragic plane crash this year. People will indeed be curious how he survived it alone. May those who perished rest in peace.

There’s something called “survivor’s guilt,” and I’m sure that’ll plague him for a long time. What a miracle that he survived.

Perhaps his presence of mind helped him He talked of a big noise seconds afteer the plane took off. He must have mentally kept himself ready Wish others did that too or reported it to the Pilot. I did that when I smelled something burning The take off was delayed until everything was checked.

Only survivors often live with a "guilty" feeling for the rest of their life. He was seated at the place I always choose when we booked our seats.

@allknowing - That is exactly the reason why I wanted those two places. In case of accident you can try to open the door and jump out before the fire starts.

I'm sure he will be compensated adequately. I am also sure that media appearances etc will pay him quite well. I think he will earn a lot of money , everyone will want to talk to him.
