How much spice can you handle - extra extra hot at Nandos?

Spicy sauce

We enjoy eating at Nandos and they make some great chicken. You set your spice level and can too it up with sauce to make it even hotter. We usually order the spicy chicken and use the extra hot or extra extra hot sauce to add more zing. This is not something I can handle on its own though! How about you?

Just now
@rakski worth a try, but I wouldn't risk it for a full meal.

I don't like anything that is too hot. I always choose something mild if we have Indian or Asian dishes.

I like food spicy but not too much, I keep some hot pepper flakes at home that I shake on some food that I eat,

That's interesting. What food do you add it to?

When food is spiced properly the layers that build should plateau out and not really need any additions of a hot sauce. Zing is not added through heat, it is an illusion. That stuff in the image is absolutely awful. You really shouldn't need to extra zing the food if Nandos are cooking to order using fresh ingredients ,

The flavour was exactly as expected from a spicy chicken dish. I chose to try some extra spicy to play around!

@pitstop Maybe Nandos where you are is a better thing than Nandos is here - flavourless and bland was our experience. Is the stuff you get in Nandos in Australia cooked fresh on the premises?

Usually before adding it I taste it first so that it can be adjusted to my tongue's ability.

The extra extra hot was just to try. Couldn't eat a full chicken piece with it!
