I Had $92 that I didn't Know I had

When I went to buy my office chair mat last night online at Office Depot, I used PayPal first as an extra level of encryption for my credit card. I thought I had maybe $9 in there from myLot payments. As it turns out I had $92 in there that I didn't know I had. It must have been a Big Fat Check from Rakuten that I didn't remember hitting my balance. In any event, it made my $129 purchase only net me $40 which was a good thing. Have you checked your PayPal balance lately?

Yeah, I do when I’m getting ready to make a grocery order. Once a month I’ll use my PayPal balance, and I want to make sure I’ve earned enough not to have to use my credit card.

Yes. I just recently made a transfer to my checking account. I don't like to leave a big balance there.

I check my PayPal balance often since myLot and HubPages are mostly paid into it. I am constantly moving money out of it into my investments. It would be nice to find a surprise anywhere, including in my PayPal account.
