Do you believe in mental telepathy? Why?

I am not a firm believer in mental telepathy. However, there were times when I was thinking of someone, and suddenly they called me up.
There was also a time that I felt strange, like ice water was poured all over my body, and I smelled a strange, decaying odor.
The following day, they called to inform us that my hubby had suddenly departed from this world. It was the exact time that I felt those strange events.
Have you had similar experiences? Do you believe in telepathy?
Why or why not?

I certainly believe in it, My late husband I I could read each others thoughts and I connect with the world beyond lots of times by names and thoughts that come into my head,

The only times I believed in telepathy were when my husband and I had the same thoughts.

Yes, it's happened to me, too. Or some things are simply way too coincidental...often I think telepathy and premonitions can get mixed somehow. I do get some premonitions of certain things at times.

I guess it’s how you perceive it? I have had moments when I unfortunately just knew something was going to happen, and something did. And the more I try not to think about it, the stronger the feeling is. Hard to explain.

@MarieCoyle Right. I was not expecting anything from the event. In fact, I forgot all about it until they called me the following day.
