Thanks to the teamwork of the deputies of the Onslow County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) and officers with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) answered an emergency call to remove a 10 foot alligator who was loitering on a road on Saturday June 7. The 10 foot who weighs around 400 pounds is named "Pepe" was removed from the road that held up traffic by the deputies and the animal control officers from the road to a United State Marine Corps base away from the population of Onslow County. What will happen to the alligator is anyone' guess. Link is abc3340.com/news/offbeat/a...

I wouldn't like to meet that gator walking down the road towards me. I would crap myself, honestly I would. Won't they just put it back in a lake somewhere

I guess the authorities are scared of the alligators coming back to the same area again.

They were joking on social media that Pepe would be given a ticket for loitering,

That is a big alligator. Great job in relocating it. I suppose that he did not harm those who came to rescue.

That is a very big alligator. It would be bad news to hit it with a car.

I also hope that Pepe will be relocated to another area away from a population.

Alligators scare me. My son likes to play golf and has shown me YouTube videos of golfers playing on golf courses in Florida and coming upon alligators on the golf course. Can you imagine? It is terrifying!
