Bread, bread and butter or bread, butter and jam?

Just being satisfied with bread would mean living a simple life and hanging around with family. Bread and butter would be a slightly better life and still hanging around with family but bread, butter and jame would mean often leaving the country and live for oneself.
The bread, butter and jam lifestyle is what we see here these days among the youngsters and parents are totally responsible for that Their ambition is thrust on the children with a message 'aim higher' and aim higher at any cost.
Our family is experiencing that.
What about you?

Well let's see.
I don't know.
Bread itself is boring
I love butter
But I also love Jam
So it's Bread Butter and Jam for me.
But I would go further.
I would add cheddar cheese to the equation and also insist on a really good bread.
Oh and the jam would need to be raspberry, home made , by us
Aim for the sky
Aim really high
Climb every mountain
And eat a cherry pie..
Seriously, with all the influencers at work on social media , and all the peer pressure, kids have their own ambitions and do quite well without mummy and daddy living lives through their kids
Aim High, Aim Higher
Be a flyer

Yes I know.
I was being a bread, a bread and butter, and a bread and butter and jam and bread and butter and jam and cheese imperialist
And also pointing out that kids don't need pushed by parents these days.
But many parents are indeed pushy

My technician was here attending to my Dongle and we talked about this He was talking about his son and does not expect him to be in his life. That is the trend everywhere here.

@allknowing It is more and more common, children only remember their parents when they need something.
