Hartley Hedgehog came to visit

We were sitting watching the tv last night and suddenly there was movement on our camera .... the one showing the front of the house.
On closer inspection, we saw it was a hedgehog .....
We had some leftover meat in the fridge so we got thst and chopped it up a bit and took it outside. The hedgehog did not run away and he ate the meat looking like he was really enjoying it.
The Mister put out a dish of water too. After a few minutes we went inside and continued to watch him through the camera.
I have called him Hartley.
do you have creatures in your garden ......

He or she was gorgeous.... I hope he comes again. My Mom used to have them regularly in her garden years ago but we have only recently seen one. He was on the grass in the front garden, our back garden is too safely enclosed that I don't think he could get in there ....I wish he could as we have loads of slugs that he could dine on.
