Cheese has always been a favourite food of mine. It is so versitile, eat on its own or with other foodstuffs. Eat it hot or cold. Also there are so many differents flavours and varieties, from all over the world. Having said that it has been the humble cheddar that I have been eating more so recently. I have taken to have a couple of slices of cheddar with some Ritz biscuits for my supper. do you have a favourite cheese..... do you believe it gives you nightmares if you eat it late at night.....

I don't believe in that superstitious belief. I like cheese but I'm allergic in cheese when I eat too much.

My dad became allergic to cheese as an adult, and I always wondered if his constant consumption of it was the cause. Probably not, and since it is a light allergy (unlike his deadly shrimp allergy) he’ll eat the cheese anyway. Muenster is my favorite, but cheddar is my dad’s favorite.

I love cheeses of all kinds... My favorites are Colby, American and Cheddar... Technically, you can eat too much cheese but I haven't gotten to that point, yet.

yet another difference in our countries ...I have never heard of Colby. Cheddar is the most popular here. Cheddar is only a few miles from where we have our caravan so we visit there often.

@Traceyjayne Colby is a fairly mild cheese with a semi-hard texture. It crumbles easily. It's used a lot in different cheese mixes. Colby and Cheddar are both used when making American cheese. I used to work at a cheese making factory and they were experimenting with new/different flavors. We were encouraged to try the new cheeses and give our opinions of them. They made one that was jalapeno and Cheddar. OMG it was good but too hot for my system!

@DaddyEvil lol ....I tend to stay away from jalapeno ...they are hot and give The Mister a very unfortunate issue ....windows need opening ! I would be in heaven if I was working in a cheese factory. There is one in Cheddar which we have been too several times. You also get to sample the produce.

Well the bad. Ews is that too much cheese is not very healthy. I'm speaking cholesterol which is bad news for me as I do tend to eat a lot of cheese. My favourite cheeses are usually extra mature cheddar, from Scotland. It has never resulted in my having nightmares when I eat Cheese late at night which is often It it can cause gout Make your friend aware of the health risks
