College World Series

Anyone watching the NCAA College World Series tonight? LSU is playing UCLA and the first three innings have been pretty good. Unlike the LSU-Arkansas game, we are seeing some hits and more scores. At the beginning of the 4th inning the score is LSU 5, UCLA 3. And now we are in a rain delay. Hoping that it will not be along one. I don't want to stay up late tonight! Geaux Tigers!!!

It's not my game I think I saw baseball was on one of my smart TV.apps. But the world club soccer championships in America is on so I have been watching it. And English team defeated LA tonight. Not the result I wanted to see

@AmbiePam I hope so! This next game with Arkansas will be interesting! We beat them in the weekend series in regular season 2 out of 3 games. Fingers crossed they keep the mojo going!!

@kareng Very true. Yesterday I was in the middle of of some 30 or 40 youngsters going to cricket practice. They were certainly making the world go around!

When I had regular cable, I might have watched if it was on. I always enjoyed watching the Little League World Series. Maybe some of those kids are now playing for LSU. That would be pretty cool!

That would have been cool. They did have an LSU player and an Arkansas player (game from last week) who went to high school together and played baseball together on school team, reunite after the game to say hello. I saw a video on YouTube. It was great to see no resentment between the two.

@dgobucks226 Yes, this new coach is pretty fantastic! I believe the 2023 title was won in this coaches second year with LSU. That's pretty impressive. Just checked that and yes, he was hired on in 2021.

I’m not watching, but I saw that Murray State’s Cinderella season came to an end today when they were no-hit. There are tornado warnings elsewhere in Nebraska.

Yes, Arkansas took Murray State down. The weather has been bad in so many places here lately. We have rain in the forecast every day for another 2 weeks. Last week was lots of rain too. I hope the forecast changes.
