Why would Israel think killing Iran's leader will end the war?

Sometimes, the Israeli prime minister -Netanyahu says things that are unbelieveable. How can you wake up and say the leader of one country must be killed? Does Israel think that killing the Iranian leader will bring peace? Its obvious the new Iranian leader ill continue where his predecessor stops.

I can't speak for Iran, but I CAN speak for the United States, and what I can say about that is that if a foreign country killed our president, we'd retaliate with the full force and strength of our military. It would not end well for our enemies.
Granted, Iran is not the United States, and I don't think are even an equal match to Israel. Still.
