It is Tuesday morning and l have a laundry list of things to do lol. That's nothing new though is it.
Dad has been out in a regular room as of late last night. He has made enough progress that they say he doesn't need to be watched as closely as he was in the ICU. Apparently he is still fighting some virus but as soon as we kick that, he can go to rehab for his walking. He has very little strength in his legs right now. He's been bed bound for a while now so it's understandable.
I've been going to work then up to the hospital, over the weekend I got some cleaning done then went to the hospital lol. My day always ends with a visit with my dad.
Today is about the same though.
I'm working at Chris's, watching her grandmother. I can't wait to quit but that's for other reasons which would probably be a post on it's own.
While at her house, I'll be taking more notes out of the Educator book I have from the class I just took. I learned a lot in the class but I still want the notes so I'm on chapter 2 out of 11. Making progress but still so much to do.
I need to look up the information on the Herbalife tea. Someone actually asked what they were and them tasting amazing is just not the answer they want lol. So I'm looking up the specifics. I was going to anyway but I'm just doing it sooner now than I planned.
The lesson plan for my practical needs to be more detailed. I had our training officer look over it for me. He's also a math teacher at our local middle school so he would know. With a little luck, I'll work on that a bit today. I have a good base, it just needs more details.
The shop is now doing little pocket hugs. I'm using stars for them right now for the Fourth of July and they're so cute. There's a few other things that I'd like to do if I can get the time. A set of dominoes I think in orange, someone gave me the idea lol now I wanna do it.
I'm wearing a hoodie all the time and am constantly bandaged because I got a bought of poison ivy. This is the first time in my life that I've had it and let me tell you how annoying it is. It's on my hands and up my arms. I should buy stock in benadryl and iverrest meds with as much as I'm using. The band aids help keep me from scratching the actual area and the hoodie keeps the smaller spots safe or my cats from tearing my arms up.
Pretty sure that's the root of my irritability right now.
When I get off work, I'll be going up and seeing my dad. We're taking him chili up tonight. He said his gums are sore so it's hard for him to eat. Well, chili solves that and he wants shrimp chowder at some point. I'll figure out how to do it at some point. Even if I have to bring the slow cooker and everything over here to cook it. I may end up doing that.
I still need to finish the ARC Carrie Ann Ryan sent out. I'm so close lol. I could have the other night but my husband had other ideas lol. I might tonight though. After that, there's the new Nora and I'm super excited about that.
I'm still getting all my ducks in a row to make some department changes when it comes to public education. I'm getting there, getting closer, it just takes time. I have until next year then my chain of command will change up and the one I have right now works in my favor.
What are y'all up to today? I need to get a move on especially if I'm going to squeeze in some computer work lol.

Ugh! on the poison ivy. I hope your dad improves. Good that he is out of ICU at least.
The kids have their meds check appointments soon. Rather than that I am just trying to get some things done online.

I'm so over this lol. I haven't itched so much since my last bout of shingles. My husband's is almost gone and I just seem to have more spots popping up. It's annoying.
I hope you get done what you need to. I get having stuff to do and not enough time to do it in.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad your dad is out of the ICU. So sorry about the poison ivy. What about a bath in baking soda or epsom salts? I hope you feel better soon.

@JordanLader Have you had the shingles shots? I had itching for years. Once and a while I still get some itching. I haven't had shingles again since I got the shots.

@LindaOHio Yes, I have been getting cases since middle school. The older I get the more they hurt. The last time I had them, I had nerve pain for months.
