Damp and soggy weather

Outside, the rain is murmuring softly, wrapping the atmosphere in a misty blanket. Inside, the scent of warm darjeeling tea and the sound of raindrops tapping the window sills are making this a perfect evening.
However, to be practical, one can only like the rainy weather when one is inside the house. That too, not for long, until one starts missing the sunlight. We have a lot of clothes hanging on our covered balcony, waiting to dry completely. Missing the sunlight
...since its been 3 days since we last had a sunlit day
I love this rainy weather, but I also want a bit of sunlight in the mornings and noons. We all have this duality in us, I guess.

We have a heavily clouded sky. It rained whole night. I love all weathers and all seasons. Every weather has it's own beauty.

You could talk your parents into buying a clothes dryer and it wouldn't matter if it rained or was dry outside. That's what most of us in the US do. 
It's a beautiful, sunny day here. It's also, by our standards, getting warm here (81F/27C) and will be warmer by late this afternoon (86F/30C).
I'm getting tired and am thinking about going to sleep for a while.

We have an inbuilt dryer in the washing machine. But the washing machine is having some issues with weight...we can't put in too many clothes..infact a bare min. We are looking for a good mechanic to sort that out.

@Dreamerby We have separate washing and drying units. We just had a repairman come and work on our washing machine. I washed my clothing yesterday and dried them during the night. I still need to go in and get them out of the dryer, fold them and put them away.
I hope you find a repairman soon. Good luck!

Rainy days really do stir up that cozy, contemplative mood . Over here, it’s been a mix of sun and clouds, and we’re hoping for a steady stretch of good weather soon
