Ankle Socks

Good afternoon my fellow mylotters!!! It is hot today here in southwestern Nebraska!! I hate wearing shoes in the summer time. So when I go some place and have to wear shoes I'll put on a pair of ankle socks. Even though I get the right shoe size, the ankle (top) is tight!!! I asked my husband the other day if they made the ankle socks to fit a Barbie doll's ankles???
By the end of the time I have to wear them there is an indentation in my ankle of where the sock is too tight. So, I've gotten in the habit of cutting the top down a little on the side so they're not so tight!! Do you have that problem too?

Is that your legs??
I have never worn ankle socks
I wear motorcycle boots every day and ankle socks are no good.
But enough about me
Is it the heat that makes you hate wearing shoes?
I don't know what I would do.
Do you ever wear.those flopp flip things?

No, those aren't my legs. I j ust don't like wearing shoes and the summer time is a good time to go barefooted. You can't go barefooted to work or to go in stores or places to eat.. Lately I wear crocks, but I do occassionally wear flip flops or slides.

I don't think I would even walk barefooted outside here
Dogs pee everywhere.
Crocks are something I never got used to.

After I severely damaged my right foot, I gave up on trying to put on socks, period. I live in Florida, so flip flops are my year-round shoe of choice.

I’ve had that same issue, especially in the summer when everything feels more snug. You’re definitely not alone!
