Here's a Mystery For You

One of my favorite YouTube producers, Paper and Moose, had an interesting situation. She helps an old guy clear out houses. She gets whatever she finds and is paid modestly for helping him. Here's the mystery: There was a lot of mouse droppings. They came upon an old bowling bag with a ball and shoes in it. The zipper was pulled completely closed. Looking inside they found a mouse nest in one of the shoes. But, there were no holes, ripped areas along the zipper, nothing. How did the mice get inside?
