ALL GOVERNMENT WORKERS / CIVIL SERVANTS SHOULD WORK IN UNIFORM

How would it be like if all civil servants will be required to work in uniform? Could such a move improve their performance? Most of you will argue that it may kill their morale and some believe that may give rise to pride-related acts such as those witnessed among some “boys-in-blue”. Apparently, medicine, military and police departments are some of examples of areas where employees are required to have uniforms at work. Indeed, their performance and discipline are satisfactory. It is my opinion therefore that civil all servants be provided with staff uniform.

Some uniforms might be just fine for some employees, but terribly uncomfortable for other body types. Also, it would add cost where people choosing their clothes costs nothing. Some vocations like you mentioned it makes perfect sense, but for many others I think it would be a problem.
